Monitoring Program

Vigortone’s Beef Feedlot Monitoring Program is a tool developed for the feedlot operator that is interested in efficient and profitable cattle feeding. The program utilizes the latest technology to evaluate the performance of a group of cattle from start to finish.

The program provides a timely performance summary throughout the feeding period including information on daily intake, average daily gain, and cost of gain. When cattle are closed-out, the information is added to a database, which the producer can use to make future management decisions when buying and selling cattle.

The Monitoring Program is driven by actual data provided by the feedlot. Type of feedstuffs used, environmental factors, and pounds of intake are all factors in generating accurate predictions of performance throughout the feeding period.
