Pro Beef 07 Conference Overview / Press Release (pdf)

The Pro Beef 07 Conference will bring agricultural scientists from around the world to discuss the global influence the ethanol industry has on agriculture today and in the future. The conference will be held in Ames, Iowa, at the Scheman Building at Iowa State University.

Vigortone Calf and Heifer College

A Calf and Heifer College for selected Vigortone salesmen was recently held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The agenda included discussion by Dr. Steve Hayes on milk replacer basics, calf and heifer immunity by Dr. Vic Cortese, and colostrum, rumen development, and research updates by Lance Fox. Vigortone Technical Service personnel led discussion on other subjects including the Vigortone Calf Program with early weaning, working with large herds, and heifer growers.
